I didn't really finish talking about Island Tour, or talk about the stuff that happened during Moonlight Madness. What is Moonlight Madness? It's actually what they call the 'Relay For Life' thing that they hold on the Honoka'a High School football field. It was to help people with cancer. But I'm moving on to Island Tour day 2.

I forgot some other details...like when Bridget came in to see me in my room after she had a nice dinner with her boyfriend who came to visit on the first night. I just found out that I am glompable! Haha, well it's so funny that Bridget glomped me, because we're such good friends like that. She then went to the window and watched her lover boy leave, and it was so cute because it was like the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet, only they used their cell phones to talk to each other.

So then when everyone was in their rooms, Auntie Sherry and I shared one bed and Kamlin and Makana on the other. Both of them were so hilariously crazy that night, singing and making up words to tunes of songs and eating ice. I was moving around a bit since I couldn't sleep until a while later.

That morning, we got to sleep in a bit. When everyone was up and about, Kamlin, Makana, Auntie Sherry, Moani, Bridget, and I went to the hotel's restaurant downstairs to have the breakfast buffet. Later, we all hung out in our rooms after packing up and then finally we went down to wait in the lobby for our bus. The bus came and whisked us off on a short ride to Kealakehe School.

When we got to the school we had to wait for Frank DeLima to do his little presentation as well as speeches from Miss Hawaii and Miss Kona Coffee. I recognized Miss Kona Coffee as a girl I had to compete against almost two years ago for the Hamakua Music Festival scholarship grant. The girl had obviously made a lot of accomplishments for herself, unlike me. So moving on, we finally got to perform.

When Cameron and Moani went up to perform 'Picture' by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, my crush asked me to dance. Now that was unexpected. I asked him if he really wanted to and he said yes. So swallowing up my shame and getting into the excitement, my crush and I went up to dance. Those middle school students roared with excitement and I was smiling when I danced with him. We were just holding each other's hands and moving side to side and around, and then after only about 30 seconds of dancing we went off to the side. He told me later that he asked to spin me around, but I didn't hear him. At the time everything was loud and I commented, "You call this dancing??"

Eventually, we got on the bus to leave. We arrived back in Honoka'a and there we stopped to eat for a while. I didn't notice or get to say goodbye, but Bridget had to leave because she had to prepare for Relay for Life early the next day. Anyway, we got back on the bus and headed off for Hilo. We got to the Hilo Seaside hotel and settled in in the same area where we stayed the last time. The back. Smart move, hotel staff.

We switched rooms with the guys because our room only had three small beds and theirs had two small ones and one medium sized one. So we all just hung around for a while, until Auntie Sherry said she was going to dinner at Jimmy's, a pretty old but great restaurant. So I hopped into her car with three other people and we headed down. When we got to the restaurant we ordered our food, and then when it came, it was feast for the eyes as well as the stomach.

Like I mentioned before, I did not drink a drop of alcohol whatsover and get drunk and apparently had a bad hangover afterward. Last year, I thought I had a hangover...I'm not sure if I did, but I felt horrible when Island Tour ended; all the way until Talent Show a few weeks later where I had a hard time singing but I still did my best and it sounded great. This time...I did some second-hand smoking.

Everyone in the car smoked. So they all did, but they're sensitive enough to know that they don't just puff when I'm around, so they had the windows open...which didn't help too much but it was nice of them. After that, everything was just a bore. Just hanging around, me watching tv, talking to Sara again at one point and peeking around in the other rooms. One of the girls was playing this car game and was running over all the pedestrians. It was hilarious. Kamlin and Makana didn't sleep in our room that night; they ended up in one of the guys' rooms one floor below, and I suspect I don't want to know what happened that night, though I missed a lot.

That was day 2....I think I'll make day 3 seperate.
