Phew! Well I'm finally back. It always takes me a while to do entries, since they take up a chunk of time to finish one. But I know that people want to know what happened, and I know I want to have these memories down for the record. I can't believe it's been a year since last Island Tour. Things happen. They always do. But I'm going to say this first; I did NOT drink any alcohol at ALL during Island Tour. Whoo! Go ME!

Island Tour really was different from last year. We left school Wednesday afternoon. The Jazz band left earlier in a van and everyone in Ensembles got to have a whole seat to themselves on the bus. Our first destination, the King Kamehameha hotel in Kailua-Kona. When we got there, we waited in the lobby until we got our room keys and we went up to our rooms on the second floor and got settled in.

Later my roomies Kamlin and Makana and chaperone Auntie Sherry (as we affectionately call her) hopped into her car to go and buy a few things from the KTA store just up the busy road, and Makana did a little shopping. Later when we got back to the hotel, Kamlin wanted to go to the pool so me and Makana went along and then we decided we didn't want to swim and shared a plate of yummy cheese fries and strawberry daquiri that Kamlin bought.

A bunch of the boys were saying that they were going up to the shopping center to the game shop. So we decided to tag along and Kamlin and Makana begged Shane for money for our dinner since the boy was loaded with cash. I know, yeah we were taking advantage of him but of course he's so nice to us, hehehe. So we went up and bought our food at KFC and then went back to the hotel. Kamlin wanted to go back to the pool to swim but we stayed and watched American Idol for a while before we went out.

When we got to the pool there weren't many other people there, but we could see a luau going on not far off. Makana just watched while Kamlin went into the pool and I sat at the edge, wondering whether to go in or not. So after a while I took a short swim and then we all went up to our rooms. We all took a shower and then I sat around in the room, watching tv while Auntie Sherry was smoking out on the balcony with some people in the jazz band while Kamlin and Makana were roaming around in the other rooms. I swear it's impossible to find them.

That reminds me of last year; Tihana was my roommate along with Kamlin and they were just all over the place. So I called Sara at one point while she was watching Trigun and I was watching Boy Meets World on the Disney channel since the tv didn't have Cartoon Network. So I was stuck and missed one of the episodes that I wanted to see most.

After I said goodnight to Sara, I watched tv a little more then until when it was almost 10 'o clock I remembered that I was supposed to call my parents at home since they weren't home from work yet. I went and sat out in the hallway against the wall, and peeked down at a bunch of boys sitting around and talking, the quiet one I find so endearing playing his guitar, until I see who else but my 'crush'...walking around. I think he must have seen me then because a while later he came by and sat down next to me on the carpeted floor of the hallway.

And we talked. I don't know, we just chatted about simple stuff, like how we were doing, what's up with everyone else...little things like that. I guess I must have felt a little more attraction to him than I ever did, I just wondered why he came down and sat next to me. Of course I knew I was shy talking to him, I barely made direct eye contact with him. I'm still confused with my emotions with him, I mean since he's only a 'crush' of mine...but I'm getting so paranoid of what he does.

Earlier, when we got to the hotel, at one point he was walking around without a shirt. On his shoulder there was some kind of heart thing and vague lettering that said "I *heart* M....S..". I saw this from way down the hall and my slightly jealous side convinced me that it was the name of some Senior girl in our Ensembles group that I assumed he liked. It wasn't until later that I finally got a good look at that drawing on his arm that said "I *heart" My Sister". .....Ugh. I felt like a total idiot then, yes I did. Why am I getting so paranoid over him?? Sheesh, the first time I saw his sister I thought it was his girlfriend. But now I know better. His sister is cool. She's one of the peer ed teachers at our school.

Well moving on...when it was getting late, Shane and some other guys came in the room and asked why I was in here by myself, though Auntie Sherry was still out on the balcony. He said to come to his room since Kamlin and Makana were there playing video games. So I went along and found Kamlin playing a racing game with Ian. I joined in to play later and afterward, I played Tekken 4 against Ian. I LOVE Jin Kazama. He is a hottie. I beat Ian's arse with Jin several times. Hahaha...

After playing games, I went back to the room for a while, then went back to find Kamlin and Makana again. I found then lying around in Kaneala's room, and apparently they were feeding him. Makana looked way out of it, and Gary was crashed out. As I heard it, he drank too much and threw up and passed out. The poor thing. So Makana and Kamlin had cleaned up after him. It was until later that something else happened between Makana and Kaneala...

Moving on, I was just watching Kamlin guys feeding Ala, and since most of them were drunk, it was funny when they knocked Ala off the bed, because he just seemed to slowly fall off and tumble over. Well later, Mr. Washburn's wife came around and told us to go back to our rooms. So then we did, and settled in to go to sleep, after Makana and Kamlin shared a bucket of ice. I don't know...Makana loves to eat ice, as do I, but probably not as much as her.

So after a while of watching music videos on tv, I shut it off and then Makana and Kamlin were going off singing songs and making up their own words to tunes. Those two are hilarious, but they kept me and Auntie Sherry up for a while as we kept tossing and turning in our shared bed. So finally I got some sleep.

A bunch of other weird things happened that night, but I prefer not to mention it as it is too grossly hilarious to say. Well that was the first night. The first night isn't always that bad...not as bad as it was last year, but even though I felt left out with Kamlin and Makana always going room hopping and leaving me out of things, I felt better about that night.
