Song of the day: "To Where You Are" ~ Josh Groban
I thought I wouldn't have anything to write about tonight, but it seems like the world just attracted another Josh Groban fan.
First of all, I went to the dentist today. Mom left a note saying that I had an appointment at 2:30 right when I got home from school. Well ok so I called up my auntie and she brought me over to my mom's dentist. He was the only dentist that could take care of my toothache because my own dentist and a bunch of others in town went to a convention off-island.
So anyway, after filling out a form and waiting for a while and a couple x-rays later, I had to call up my mom to get an ok to fix up my little tooth problem. After some numbing and periods of drilling, it was complete. It was painful, but it was done, and I got it over with. I won't go on to say why I had to get my tooth drilled. It just had to get cleaned out.
My mouth was trembling after that, my tooth was throbbing a bit but I pulled through and right now I feel fine. During that little session with Dr. Dentist the left side of my brain was screaming in agony. But of course, I only scream in my head and never on the outside. I was a real trooper; I can pretty much endure long periods of pain. At least now the pain is gone from my tooth and that's the only pain I wanted gone.
So now I have to take some pills called Amoxicillin every eight hours until I get down the whole thing. To get rid of infection. But I still have to go back for the dentist to finish what he started. Yay. Oh how I love going to the dentist....but somehow going to my mom's dentist was more comforting that it is going to my own dentist. The room wasn't freezing cold and the inside of me wasn't shaking in terror.
Well enough about my little dentist trip...return to Josh Groban. Ah yes...he is one unbelievable singer. I was trying to find out about his song, "To Where You Are" because I didn't know who sang it and of course, I happened to come across a little webpage that had the song and his lyrics, which brought me to his original page. After viewing through the little gallery, I was off into Josh land. Ooh, I love a guy who can sing...
Josh Groban is in his prime, a curly-haired angel with a heavenly voice that makes me melt and cry. His songs are so beautiful. Somebody slap me, gotta love that baritone opera voice...
Now, if only I could get a guy in my Ensembles class to be able to sing...and do a duet with me, nonetheless...
