Song of the Day: "Intuition" ~ Jewel

I joined up a lot of fanlists today. I think I just liked putting up the buttons. Oooh the pretty pretty buttons...erm...moving on.

Mom is still mad at me. She thinks I still don't want to talk to her so she never called at all to check up on me. She did call a while after I got home, but when I answered, she only wanted to talk to my dad. Our voices exchanged only for mere seconds. But that's fine. I should still figure out how to talk to her about this.

Well I'm just going to just talk about random things.

The other night (or morning, I guess since I woke up a while after) I had this strange dream, that I was being chased. I was looking through the eyes of two people, I guess. At first I was either...a girl or myself. Then at another point I changed into what I would assume myself as a male (yeah...again) and try to save this girl, but then I ended up having to run and jump down two times into these escape holes and into water or something under a castle, or what I can figure it to be.

I don't know what it was about this dream, or ones similar to before, but I had a sense of fear when I saw them. Dreams where I am being chased, or falling, I think most likely, into water. It is hard to depict what dreams can mean, and we can only presume how it may relate to our life as of now.

But enough of that. It's strange. But dreams are always strange. However, I just think of how weird it is that I dream as if I were a guy. Ook...now I don't want to be creepy here.

Speaking of creepy...last night, I forgot to take the clothes off the line. When I opened the door to the backyard, I saw a large ash-white colored bird fly off from a tree. It was an owl; a "Pue'o", as the Hawaiians call them. It was gorgeous. It had a lovely wing span from the slight moment of time I saw it.

Hawaiians believe in 'mana', spirits usually from animals or nature that protect a person and their family. I don't know what this has to do with me but I realize that I've been seeing large birds lately. Maybe not that large...but birds bigger than the little sparrows or finches.

I saw a hawk floating on the thermals last week. I remember I saw an owl yet again just a couple of weeks ago when I was riding home with Sister Elizabeth after the confirmation retreat. I saw it flying over the dry grassy hills of Kawaihae, over a little place that had small green palm trees which I would affectionately call it 'Palm Tree Heaven'.

I find it mysteriously calming to see an owl; a pue'o. And the one I saw flying over the palms was during the day, but late in the afternoon.

Well, moving on from owls...I guess I have nothing else to talk about.

Bird of silent mystery, wings of silver ash...show me how to fly away...
