Feeling:
I had always wondered if it was ok for me to watch anime that contained demons in it. For example, since I began watching Inu Yasha, I thought about other animes that contained 'beautiful' demons, you know, young men with attractive features yet are demons as played their role in the plot.
This brought me to a qualm: my religion. I'm a Catholic, yet I let myself to watch attractive demons on tv. I'm not saying that it's bad, but I just wonder if it's wrong for me. Yet, these are only shows and don't mean much except for my love of drama, action, and a little 'fairy tale' beliefs.
However, I know my commandments and morals in sin and one of which specifically says not to idolize anything before God. Of course, I try to uphold these morals in myself. It leaves me at a dilemma, though.
At least I'm not completely obsessing over these characters in anime who are demons, but I really should try to find an answer.
Well, that was a pretty short topic.
I found this diary of a Christian novelist by curiously clicking on a Diaryland banner. She has some interesting thoughts, and has published at least 9 books, of what I've read about in her diary so far. I would really like to pick up one of her books and see what she has to say.
I guess I should try to sleep now...there are still things I haven't done and my thoughts just keep on running away with me.
Of course...I want to bring out my writing...
Argh, I'm doing it again...watching Yu Yu Hakusho...
Ah well, some quizzes to make up for wasted time.
